The virtual reality experience „Oculus magic“ puts the player in the position of a mage student, who gets in control of his masters magic office. With various movements of a Nunchuck controller as a wand, he can activate the spells „Destroy“, „Levitate“ or „Shrink“ to cause some trouble.


Together with the two informatic students of my previous project „Korallenrift“, my concept of the magic room could be turned into practice in one semester.
After our first experience with the Oculus Rift, we mainly wanted to create an impressive and controllable environment, that is easy to enjoy for players of every age. As concept and texture artist it was fascinating to see my drawings of all the detailed objects in the room coming alive in 3D .
